EDF Action Congratulates Dave Min on his Win in CA-47

EDF Action Votes spent $200,000 supporting Dave Min’s election to the U.S. House

(WASHINGTON, D.C. – November 13, 2024) EDF Action congratulates Dave Min (CA-47) on winning election to the U.S. House.

“Voters sent a strong message by sending Dave Min to Congress,” said David Kieve, president of EDF Action. “Representative-elect Min’s record in the California Senate makes clear he is a true champion of climate and clean energy, always with an eye toward innovation and the economy of the future. We were proud to support Min in his election bid and embrace his forward-looking, bipartisan approach on climate solutions that will benefit his district.” 

EDF Action Votes launched a $200,000 ad buy, part of a $2 million partnership with SEIU, LCV Victory Fund, and NRDC Action Votes to support Min over Scott Baugh in the open CA-47 race.

EDF Action PAC also contributed grassroots support to mobilize climate voters in California including deploying organizers from EDF Action to help Dave Min and other federal candidates win election and recruiting volunteers from among EDF Action’s membership.
