EDF Action Congratulates Sen. Jacky Rosen on her Victory in Nevada

EDF Action Votes spent $2 million in support of Sen. Rosen’s re-election

(Washington, DC – November 12, 2024) EDF Action congratulates U.S. Sen. Jacky Rosen (NV-SEN) on winning re-election.

“Voters sent a strong message by re-electing climate champion Jacky Rosen to the Senate,” said David Kieve, president of EDF Action. “Sen. Rosen is a stalwart supporter of the Inflation Reduction Act’s clean energy plan, a landmark law that is bringing billions in investment and thousands of jobs to Nevada. We were proud to support Rosen in her election and welcome her continued bipartisan leadership on climate solutions that benefit Nevadans.”

EDF Action Votes ran a $2 million television and digital ad campaign in Spanish and English targeting Latino voters supporting Sen. Rosen over challenger Sam Brown. EDF Action and EDF Action Votes have supported Sen. Rosen in every election dating back to her first run for Congress in 2016.

EDF Action PAC also contributed grassroots support to mobilize climate voters in Nevada, including deploying organizers from EDF Action and Clean Air Moms Action to help Senator Rosen and other federal candidates win re-election and recruiting volunteers from among EDF Action’s membership.
